Customary, an NYC-based custom application development agency–specializing in web and mobile development, restoration, and maintenace–needed a visual identity to communicate the company’s value to its target market. Customary’s approach to design draws inspiration from the monastic tradition. Its mission is to be a place where “skilled makers can deepen their crafts while engaging with each other and customers”. The logo, website, and overall visual identity needed to communicate this mission.
