In October of 2009, my friend and fellow cyclist, Emily, and I decided to hold a bike tour of New York City to find what restaurants make the best taco. The tour was approximately 36 miles long and took us and the thirty or so riders who came along through Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn. The ride received coverage on several cycling blogs and all attendees had a wonderful time.
The logo is a direct nod to the Tour de France logo, except the letter forms are made of guacomole and what was once a cyclist's front wheel is now a taco. Yummy!

A ratings sheet was created for riders to rate each taco as they went along.
The ride also had a twitter page which updated followers on our progress during the ride.
