Orange Equity, a private equity firm, approached me to transform their website from a hastily thrown-together site into a more robust site with CMS capabalities. Because the firm had virtually no branding, the task at hand was not only to give them a compelling site, but to also begin developing an overall identity.

What already existed was the color orange(kind of a no-brainer) and the image of a windmill. Both elements, drawn from managing partner Robbert J.F. de Klerk's Dutch background, had become symbolic of the company. Using these elements and the company's California location as a starting point, I developed a site built on the Wordpress platform, that positions the company as 'innovative and flexible, but also rock solid.'
