One of the things I miss (sort of) about working in an office is the near-infinite supply of goodies. This past week, I stopped in at one of my clients’ headquarters to work on a project for an hour or so. An hour or so quickly turned into 5 hours, over the course of which the editor and I developed a serious case of the munchies. He led me to a giant yellow cupboard and pulled out a box of something called De Lish Fruit Wonders.

“Interesting packaging,” I thought. Turns out they’re part of Duane Reade’s private label.

I placed one on my tongue and immediately doves flew through the office window accompanied by the Chariots of Fire theme.

SRSLY, these cookies are so good. I went home, bought a pack, and haven’t stopped eating them since. I may very well have diabetes.

“There are many good definitions (of design). One is the synthesis of form and content.” -Paul Rand

“Like a cop, a designer is on duty 24/7/365. Only instead of eating donuts we like croissants and other fancy crap.” -Angry Paul Rand
